Week of 4/13: CVS #2

Still not really sure if I got a deal on the make-up or not.

I don't even wear make-up. I got it for my sister's emergency bridal kit. She's a wedding planner.

I *think* I got the make-up for $.73 total, but I won't know until Wednesday. My $10 ECB from the B$20G$10 Covergirl didn't print out b/c of the stupid stores changing prices on Saturday. Ugh!

Anyway, here's what I got after 5 visits to 4 stores Saturday afternoon:

(4) Gerber Juices

(6) Banana Puffs (seriously, can we get another flavor, please???)

(5) CVS Supreme Cloth Wipes (I think they are comparable to Huggies Natural Care)

These totaled $25.90 so I got $10 ECB.

(5) Lumene Body Aktiva -paid $9.95, got $10 ECB

(2) CG TruBlend Whipped Foundations
(2) CG TruBlend Foundations
(2) CG Lipsticks
(1) CG Ultimate Finish
(3) Lumene Lip Glosses (reg. $8.99 each, on clearance for 89 cents each)
(2) M&M Peanuts (because I wanted a snack, but didn't end up eating it)

Hmmm, how much did I spend?
Trip 1: $1.21
Trip 2: $15.58 I didn't use any ECBs just in case I have to return the make-up.
Trip 3: $3.48
Trip 4: $14.94 I didn't use any ECBs just in case I have to return the make-up.
Trip 5: -$7.48 returned one of the make-up purchases

So I spent $27.73 which may as well be $1 million dollars when you are talking about CVS.

I got $135.74 worth of product (not including tax). This is a savings of 80%.

I got (or will get) a total of $55 in ECBs.

Week of 4/13: Walgreens

(4) Glade Scented Oil Plugins (2/$4.79 x 2 - $3.00 Q x 2) = 58 cents
(1) Pepcid Complete - 8 ct. (clearanced $3.24 - $2.00 Q) = $1.24
(1) Gallon of Milk ($2.89)

I also have a MIR for the Pepcid so it will be free in about 4-8 weeks.

Week of 4/13: CVS

(1) Contour Glucose Monitor ($14.99 - $14.99 Q) = FREE plus $14.99 ECB
I'll be sending this to my MIL.
(1) Zaditor Eye Drops ($13.49 - $5.00 Q - $5.00 MIR) = $3.49 OOP plus $3 ECB
I *love* these eye drops. They are an allergy sufferer's best friend.
(2) Gas-X Melting Strips ($5.69 x 2 - $1.50 Q x 2) = $8.38 OOP plus $10 ECB

(2) Playskool Cups
(4) Playskool Teethers
These were buy one, get one 50% plus I had a $4/$20 Playskool CRT.

I spent $7.85 OOP
I used $25.00 ECBs
I got back $27.99 ECBs

Not great, but not too bad. I've done MUCH better. LOL
